The Paseo Club got on board with the pickleball craze early on and now offers comprehensive facilities with drop-in play, drills, leagues, and tournaments.

The pickleball department is always looking to improve member’s experience and the development of pickleball apps is no exception.

There are many apps on the market — some good and some not so good. After conducting thorough research, the club found the pickleball app that is a step above the rest.

In this article, we will discuss why you even need an app for pickleball, what to look for in a pickleball app, and why Swish is the best choice for picklers.

Comp_LAFirefighter_Pickleball4Why do players need an app for pickleball?

An app for pickleball can do a multitude of different things — from setting up recreational games to organizing big tournaments, events, and even leagues. Apps can be a helpful tool for everyone playing the sport of pickleball.

What qualities are desirable in a pickleball app?

When you use an app you need an intuitive interface and ease of use. The last thing you want to happen is to be in the middle of a round-robin tournament and have the app lead you to the person you just played. Yet, that exact situation has happened to many players.

From difficulty recording your score to poor design to confusion of the order of a competition, some pickleball apps have too many drawbacks to make them functional and reliable.

Ultimately, some apps were clearly designed for other sports and have tried to add pickleball under their umbrella without clearly thinking out the specific needs of the sport and the athletes that play it.

  • Accuracy
  • Dependability
  • Intuitive interface
  • Easy adjustment of input
  • Diverse applications for the game of pickleball

What are the benefits of the Swish App?

The Swish App was developed to be very easy to use and functional for all game modes.

If you have questions or concerns about the app, they are answered quickly by their reliable response team via email.

The Paseo Club has several pickleball events throughout the year. The event you can look forward to participating in next is the Christmas Pickleball Toy Drive Tournament on December 10. This tournament is to help the children of the Santa Clarita Valley.

Men and women ranked 2.5, 3.0, or 3.5 can play. There will be fixed teams with a round robin and finished bracket. Your team earns points for every toy donated! Women start at 9 am with an 8:30 check-in. Men begin at 11:30 am with an 11 am check-in.

The cost is $35 per person, plus 1 toy (or more!) worth $10. There are only four teams per division, so sign up now!

The Paseo Club has over 60 fitness classes available each week and tennis and swimming. We also offer a cafe with a wide selection of food and drinks and a full-service spa.

If you would like to be part of a health-oriented community, then schedule a tour of the Paseo Club. Check out all eight acres of our facilities and meet members and staff. It might be a great fit for you!
