Welcome to Summer Camp!

The Paseo Club Summer Camp Rules & Code of Conduct

Geometric Shape

To ensure a fun, safe, and respectful environment for all campers and staff, we ask that families review and agree to the following rules. These expectations are designed to protect the well-being of everyone involved.

  • Treat fellow campers and staff with respect at all times

  • Follow directions from staff and counselors promptly

  • Keep hands, feet, and objects to yourself

  • Use appropriate language—no swearing, name-calling, or teasing

  • Stay within designated camp areas unless escorted by a staff member

Health & Safety

  • Campers showing signs of illness (fever, vomiting, diarrhea, etc.) must stay home

  • If a camper becomes ill during the day, a parent/guardian will be contacted for immediate pickup

  • Any physical aggression, including hitting, kicking, biting, or throwing objects, is not tolerated

  • No use of sharp or dangerous objects (including misuse of toys or utensils)

  • Inappropriate behavior in bathrooms or changing areas will result in immediate action

Bullying & Threats

  • Bullying of any kind—physical, verbal, or emotional—will not be tolerated

  • Threatening language or behavior, even in play, is taken seriously

  • Campers may be removed from camp immediately for threats or harmful actions

Respect for Property

  • Respect club property and the belongings of others

  • Vandalism, intentional damage, or theft may result in suspension or removal from camp

Consequences for Rule Violations

Depending on the severity of the behavior, the following actions may be taken:

  • Verbal warning or redirection

  • Time away from group activities

  • Parent notification and behavior report

  • Suspension from camp (temporary or permanent)

  • Immediate pickup required (in cases involving illness, violence, threats, or unsafe behavior)

Our Commitment

We strive to create a positive, engaging camp experience for every child. These rules are in place to ensure that all campers and staff feel safe, supported, and able to enjoy their time at The Paseo Club.
