Kids Club Policies

  1. A PDF copy of these policies may be requested via email to KidsCorner@thepaseoclub.com.  These policies may be updated from time to time with or without notice.

  2. By reserving and dropping off your child in the Kids Club, you acknowledge the existence of these policies and agree to abide by them.

  3. Use of Kids Club and Kids Corner is available to members by reservation only. You may reserve your child’s spot up to 3 (three) days in advance via the Paseo Club app.

  4. You must remain on The Paseo Club premises at all times in order to utilize the childcare facilities. Use of the trails for exercise/runs is not acceptable while your child is in Kids Corner/Kids Club except when participating in a class/event held by The Paseo Club. If parents do not abide by this rule, use of Kids Club/Corner will be suspended for one month.

  5. Walk-ins are no longer permitted in the Kid’s Club. All kids must be registered in advance through our mobile app.

  6. Unfortunately, non-members, even if they are a paid guest of yours or are on a guest pass, are no longer permitted to use Kid’s Club.

  7. For the safety of all the children, we do not allow food to be brought in and eaten.

  8. Check your children’s pockets for food, toys, or small objects, which could cause choking and/or harm to small children before bringing them into childcare. Outside toys and/or comfort-type objects are not permitted into Kids Club/Corner.

  9. All Kid’s Club/Corner forms, emergency contact information, and mobile phone number must be current. Any changes or updates are your responsibility to convey to us.

  10. If you would like Kids Corner Staff to change your child’s diaper or assist your child in the restroom, you must give us permission on the Medical Release Form. Parents must provide diapers or pull ups and wipes for their infants and toddlers.

  11. We will do our best to make your children as happy as possible during their visit. However, if they cry for more than 15 minutes, we will contact you to pick them up.

  12. A trained aid is permitted on your membership free of charge if your child is in need of special assistance during their stay at Kids Club/Corner. 

  13. Unfortunately, we are not capable of, nor have the training to, care for children with special and/or unique medical, developmental, physical, or behavioral needs.

  14. Any child on the autism spectrum that needs an aid will not be allowed entry into the kids club without their aid present. The aid must stay with the child for the duration of the child’s stay at Kids Club/Corner. Your child will be asked to leave if their aid needs to leave.

  15. We recommend that your children dress in clothing and shoes that are acceptable for the playground. Proper shoes must be worn at all times by those who crawl or walk. Please note that Kids Club/Corner does not provide extra clothes and/or shoes.

  16. If your child will be picked up by someone other than the person who dropped them off, a Third Party Pickup Form will be required for each and every day so that we can release your child to the person you designate, (Photo ID will be required upon pickup.)

  17. Tell staff at the beginning of each visit if there are any medical conditions they should know about your child. 

  18. Any child displaying signs of illness will not be permitted entry, regardless of whether the condition is contagious. Symptoms include, but are not limited to: fever, stomach ache, diarrhea, cough, runny nose, pink itchy eyes, etc. If your child has had a fever, they can return to Kids Club/Corner only after they have been fever free for 24 hours or longer.

  19. While we recognize that children express themselves and engage in play in many different ways, we have a zero-tolerance policy for any form of violence, biting or bullying. If a child is observed displaying physically or verbally aggressive behavior toward another child, staff member, or sibling, we will contact you immediately and request that the child be picked up without delay.

  20. To give all parents the chance to enjoy all The Paseo Club has to offer, we ask that you adhere to the 2 hour 30 minute time limit per child per visit. A visit in the morning and then another visit when we reopen in the afternoon is acceptable. Infants from 3 months to two years are permitted for no more than 90 minutes per visit.
    1. Please note that the maximum time allotment of 2 hours and 30 minutes or 90 minutes for infants is not guaranteed by default. Availability is based on current capacity within our reservation system, and it is the responsibility of each parent or guardian to reserve the full duration, pending space availability.
    2. If your initial reservation is scheduled for less than the maximum allotted time of 2 hours and 30 minutes, please be aware that any time exceeding your originally booked reservation will incur a fee of $1 per minute, regardless of whether you remain within the overall maximum time limit.
  21. If the 2 hour 30 minute time limit or your reserved time is exceeded, a late fee of $1 per minute per child will be charged. If you have not picked up your child within 5 minutes of being late, they will be walked to you for your care, regardless of what activity you are engaged in.
    1. Any member who exceeds the designated pickup time by 10 minutes or more on more than three occasions within a calendar month may have their childcare privileges suspended for the entirety of the following month at minimum.

  22.  If you arrive more than 15 minutes late for your reservation or do not show for your reservation for any reason without prior communication with the Kid’s Club, your reservation will be forfeited, canceled, and a fee of $20 will be charged to your account for each occurrence.
    1. If you are late, your reservation end time still remains the same. 
    2. If three (3) reservations are missed within a one month, use of the Kid’s Club may be suspended for one month.  
  23.  Cancellation of reservations is permitted at least 60 minutes or greater prior to your original reservation time in the spirit of member fairness and availability.  Any and all cancellations not made at 60 minutes or greater prior to a reservation will automatically incur a $25 non-cancellation fee.

  24. The unlimited monthly Kid’s Club Dues will be $60 per month effective on July 1, 2025. The prorated hourly rate is $15/hour.
