August 31: Labor Day King of the Court Pickleball

King of the Court is a competitive format where players rotate courts based on wins and losses. Games are played to 11, and the winners move up a court while the losers move down. The goal is to reach — and stay on — the top court. Players can rotate partners each round, making it fun, social, and skill-testing. Play starts at 10 am and is free. Register to play!

September 6: DUPR Rating Event - FREE!

Get your official DUPR rating! Pickleball players will compete in multiple rounds against opponents of varying skill levels, switching partners each round to mix up the play. All matches are recorded and submitted to DUPR, and by the end of the event, each participant will receive their official DUPR rating. This is a great way to get rated, meet new players, and challenge your game! This event is every first Saturday of the month from 8:30-10:30 am. Free for members and $10 for non-members. Register to get rated.

September 7: Anything But the Paddle

Anything But the Paddle is a hilarious, one-of-a-kind pickleball event where players ditch their paddles and get creative! Bring your wildest (and legal!) household items—think kitchen spatulas, books, fly swatters, or even a flip-flop—and see how they hold up on the court. It’s all about fun, laughs, and seeing who can adapt and win with the most ridiculous “gear.” Let the chaos begin! The cost is $15 and begins at 5 pm. Register for Anything but the Paddle!

September 19: Blacklight Pickleball - FREE!

Come play blacklight pickleball during a Friday night drop in. We’ll turn off the lights, crank up the music, and let the glow take over. The courts, balls, and nets will be decked out in neon and black light-reactive gear, and players are encouraged to wear their brightest outfits, glow paint, and accessories. Starts at 7:30 and goes until closing. Register for Blacklight PB. 

September 20 & 21: CAPA Pickleball Tournament

CAPA is back at The Paseo Club for another huge pickleball tournament on Saturday and Sunday, September 20 and 21. This tournament is hosted at The Paseo Club, but all inquiries should be directed to CAPA. Registration will open soon.
* Please note: The tournament will use all pickleball courts and four tennis courts for the weekend. Please expect limited parking over the weekend and also limited court availability. We encourage you to either participate in the tournament or to come and watch. There will be a lot of highly skilled pickleball players who participate in this event. 

September 27: Summer Slam Pickleball Tournament

Our favorite firefighters are back at The Paseo Club raising money for their charity (to be announced). The Summer Slam is one of our annual favorites with WWE style dress up and many, many laughs. All Pickleball courts will be booked for the full day, so either sign up as a player or come and support our LA County Firefighters in their pursuits.
This event is hosted at The Paseo Club; however, it is run by County Fire Pickleball. Please direct any inquiries to them and keep an eye on their website for registration details.
