MELANIE VOVK

Group Exercise Manager 

Melanie is Ace-Group Ex, Schwinn Cycling, Les Mills Bodypump, and Johnny G Spinning Certified.  Melanie has been in the fitness industry for over 30 years and has been the Director of Group Fitness at various gyms over the past 10 years.  She has filled the fitness center with a variety of exciting, challenging and new classes for every level!  Take a new class and let Melanie know how you like it.  She’s always happy to get feedback. 

Melanie is also a NCEP Certified Personal Trainer and she is looking forward to working with people one on one and in small group settings.  She has a passion for running and has trained people to run half and full marathons, and has participated in 10 half marathons and 2 full marathons.  Melanie has recently started doing triathlons.  She learned how to swim about a year ago and has overcome a huge fear of the open water.  She completed her first half Ironman in July of 2013.

Melanie and her husband Mike have three kids, Nick, Mikayla and Karly. They all enjoy a very active lifestyle and enjoy spending time at The Paseo Club!
