Purchasing a membership to a private club or fitness center is a commitment. Before you make a final decision, you deserve to know all the details of what you are signing up for.
The Paseo Club has served the Santa Clarita community for over 20 years. We offer tennis, pickleball, Fitness, swimming, Pilates, and yoga facilities. There are programs for people of all ages and abilities.
In this article, you will learn everything you need to know about becoming a Paseo Club member, including what the contract entails, the types of memberships we offer, and what happens if you need to put your membership on hold or cancel.
Do I need to lock into a long-term contract?
Membership is on a month-to-month basis and only requires 30 days’ notice to cancel.
I’m not ready to commit to a gym right now, what are my options?
We understand that starting a new gym or club can be challenging, especially if you are new to the area. We offer tours of the entire facility where you can see all of the services and amenities — and ask as many questions as you like.
There is also a 1 day full access pass to The Paseo Club for you to come and enjoy our facilities. You can play a match on the courts, take a class, or just go for a relaxing swim and grab a drink at the club house. It is up to you!
I only want to come to the club to do one activity. What memberships do you offer?
We understand that you may be excited about doing just one activity. However, we promise you, in time, you will find yourself interested in exploring more, whether that be pickleball, Liquid Cardio, working out in the gym, or taking your first Pilates class.
We want you to have choices, which is why we offer one club membership option that gives you access to all classes, services, and amenities.
What are your different memberships?
We offer four membership options:
- Single Membership (For adults 18+)
- Couple Membership (A couple is defined as two individuals living at the same residence)
- Family Membership (All children in the household are included until age 22)
- Junior Membership (Youth ages 12-17 who are not associated with another existing membership)
* All children are free on any membership until the age of 12.
Do you offer onsite child care?
Yes!
We have two areas for children. Kids Corner are for children from three months old to four years old. At the age of four, your youngster will move into the Kids Club room until age twelve. We offer an hourly fee of $15/hour or an unlimited monthly package for a flat fee of $60 per month. Children can attend Kids Club up to 2 ½ hours per morning and again for up to 2 ½ hours during the afternoon/evening session.
Members must reserve childcare in advanced. You can make reservations up to three days in advance. There is no drop in child care.
What else is available to kids in addition to child care?
All children are included free with any membership until they are 12. Kids can enjoy several types of programs, including tennis, swim lessons, swim team, and rec swim, kids fitness programs, and day camps. Teens fourteen and older can attend any class they choose and train in the gym.
How can I pay for my membership?
We are a cashless club for your safety. We accept payment via credit card EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer). Your credit card or bank will be charged the first of each month for the current month’s membership. Any private training, classes, lessons, or social events will be billed at the time of purchase.
I want to add/remove an individual to/from my membership. What do I need to do?
It’s as simple as emailing the membership team at or by calling 661-257-0044. Membership will discuss the best options for you to move forward and will make the necessary changes on your account.
I have a friend that wants to join the club. What should I tell them?
We would love to have you enjoy the club with your friends. You can use a guest pass when they attend the club with you or send them to the free day pass form to acquire a pass.
The Paseo Club also has a Member Referral Program that rewards you when your friend becomes a member. You will receive a $50 club credit and there are no limits on the number of referrals you can bring.
Why do I see a No-Show Charge on my account?
If you sign up for a class and do not make it, there is a $20 charge posted against your account. If you are unable to make a scheduled class, please call the front desk as soon as you can to have you taken out of the class 661-257-0044. Instructors do their best to take attendance for each class, but it’s also a good idea to double check to see if you were marked present.
What if I have to cancel or place my account on hold?
We understand that situations arise and you may need to cancel or suspend your membership. If you need to cancel your membership outright, simply provide us with 30 days’ notice and we can have your account closed.
There are two types of holds — medical and non-medical. If you injure yourself or need to have a medical procedure, simply supply us with medical documentation and we can place your account on a medical hold. A non-medical hold MUST be submitted by the 20th of the month before the requested hold, and may extend for only one month. A non-medical hold has a 30-day maximum, and 25% of membership dues are required.
