Have you exercised this week? Danced to some music while enjoying a glass of wine? Took a dip at the pool? Watched a family film with your kiddos?
If the answer is "no" to any of these questions, it is time to get involved at the Paseo Club.
The Paseo Club is a social club in the Santa Clarita Valley. We offer fitness and social programs to people of all ages, from babies to seniors and everyone in between.
In this article, you will learn what events and activities are happening at the Paseo Club during the month of July, when they are, and how to reserve your spot. Grab your calendar and get planning!
Events at the Paseo Club in July 2023
June 12-July 21: Summer Shred Greatest Results Challenge
Greatest Results helps you get your health and fitness on the right track! Join instructors for nutrition consultation, fitness training, and peer support from other attendees to help you achieve better results.
Although this program began in June, you can sign up any time. The complete series is $250, but rates adjust for people who join later. Register at the front desk.
Choose from three different training sessions:
- Mondays and Wednesdays at 6 pm
- Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6:00 am
- Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9:30 am
July 1-August 31: Summer Spa Specials
This summer, do not forget to nurture your skin and body! Between workouts, vacations, and shuffling kids to camp, come to the spa at the Paseo Club for some TLC.
Esthetician Angie is offering:

July 1: Pool Bar is OPEN!
The Paseo Club is celebrating summer with the opening of the pool bar. No shoes? No problem! The Pool Bar operates on the weekends from 11 am-7 pm. Adults can enjoy all the club’s signature frozen concoctions and libations. You can also order food from the bartender for when you get hungry. Water misters will be on to keep you cool!

July 1: Walking Class (NEW!)
Join instructor Melanie Vovk bright and early for walking class on Saturdays. This class is great for visiting with other members, enjoying the paseos, and being outside in the fresh air. People often walk 2-3 miles, but some go further. Meet in front of the Paseo Club. The class begins at 7 am. (No class scheduled on July 8).
July 2: Kids Club Play Date - Fun in the Sun
Kids Club is hosting Play Date for children ages 3-5. At this “big kid” event, children play, craft, snack, and watch the film The Little Mermaid (1989).
Register by June 30 by contacting the Kids Club. The cost is $15 and the hours are from 2-5 pm. Children must be potty-trained to attend.
July 3 - August 4: Kids Tennis Camp
The Paseo Club still has room for more campers in their annual summer tennis camp. Kids from ages 5-18 and of all levels can join in for drills, games, swimming, and fun. Kids learn to play singles and doubles tennis.
Camp is from 10 am-3 pm. The cost is $475 per week with a discount for siblings and multiple weeks. Reserve your child’s spot!
July 4: 4th of July Tennis Round Robin
Join the Paseo Club for a tennis round robin on the Paseo courts. Dress in red, white, and blue attire and start your 4th of July off with a bang! Prizes for winners. Only $20, and you get a free drink card. All court members are encouraged to sign up. The play begins at 9 am.
July 4: 4th of July Pickleball Tournament
Grab your paddles and prepare for a Scoreholio showdown! Players at levels 2.5, 3.0, 3.5, or 4.0 are welcome to play. The games start at 9 am. Register on the Scoreholio app.
July 4: 4th of July BBQ
Join your fellow Paseo members for an awesome spread of traditional American barbeque. Feast on hot dogs, burgers, chicken sandwiches, watermelon, and potato salad. This event runs from 10:00 am-3 pm and costs $20 for adults and $13 for children. Family cornhole tournaments and water balloon fights mean fun for everyone!

July 4, 12, 19, & 26: Wine Down Wednesday
Every Wednesday at 6:30 pm, head to the Paseo Club for a glass (or two!) of wine or select cocktails and music for a fabulous mid-week hangout with friends and neighbors. WDW breaks up the workweek’s monotony and gives you something to look forward to.
July’s lineup is:
- July 4: DJ C (WDW is one day early this week and is from 12-4 pm)

July 6, 13, 20, 27: Pro Exhibition
Join us on Thursdays at 6:30 pm in July to watch some high-level tennis and pickleball from our pros and friends! Matches vary weekly and include singles and doubles for men, women, and mixed. Grab a drink at the bar and enjoy the games!
July 7: Pinot and Pilates
Pinot and Pilates will be held on Friday evening from 6-7 pm with instructor Jodi Broz. This class is a Pilates reformer class and is for all levels. Enjoy appetizers and wine in the clubhouse after your workout. $40 per person. Register on the app.

July 7, 14, 21, 28: Dive-In Movie Night
Gather your family and head to the Paseo Club for Dive-In Movie Night every Friday at sundown. Swim, watch, and snack while you enjoy classic family shows.

July 13: Family Dinners at the Paseo Club
Beginning July 13, the whole family can enjoy dinner every Thursday at the Paseo Club cafe. Dine on spaghetti, meatballs, and garlic bread for only $30 for a family of four. Dinner is served between 5 and 9 pm and reservations must be made in advance. After eating, check out the Pro Exhibition series! Questions? Email events@thepaseoclub.com.
July 21: Line and Wine
Join master dancer Cezanne Youmazzo for an evening of line dancing and wine. Some of your favorite dances will be taught! Starts at 6:30 pm. This event is for members and guests. The bar will be open during Line and Wine. No registration is needed.

July 21-22: Pickleball Tournament: Valencia Summer Showdown
Calling all pickleball players to come and play an exciting tournament! Friday evening the 21st from 7-9:30 pm mixed doubles will play. Saturday morning the 22nd men play from 7:30-10 am and women play 10 am - 12:30 pm.
This tournament is for 2.5-4.0+ level players ages 13 and up. The format is pool play followed by a single elimination bracket. The cost is $35. Register with Pickleball Brackets.
July 27: UCLA Blood Drive
On Thursday, July 27, join the Paseo community in supporting the UCLA blood drive.
Schedule an appointment and enter PASEO in the Account Code box. Appointments are recommended, but walk-ins are welcome. Eligible donors will receive two promotional items. Please remember to bring your photo identification card. This event is from 12:30-5:30 pm.
July 28: Kids Club Date Night
Children join the Kids Club staff for a special evening of their own, while parents get a night off. Participants enjoy games, crafts, and other activities. The film Rio (2011) will be shown. Dinner is included!
This event is for children ages 4-12 and is held from 5:30-9 pm. Register by July 26. The cost is $25.

July is an exciting time at the Paseo Club. There are events for people with all types of interests, whether it is tournaments, fitness programs, social events, or community fundraisers.
